DEER PARK, Napa County — Napa County’s Board of Supervisors approved water-system funding agreements in July 2026 that may benefit service reliability in the Angwin and Deer Park area.

What the Board approved

The county’s July 28, 2026 meeting recap reports approval of Measure A funding agreements with three water systems: Howell Mountain Mutual Water Company, Pacific Union College and La Tierra Mutual Water Company.

The county says the agreements support improvements to water reliability, treatment, distribution and fire protection in the Angwin/Deer Park area. In smaller communities, the dependability of tanks, pipes, pumps and treatment equipment can affect both household service and emergency readiness.

Does everyone in Deer Park receive the same water service?

No. The funding announcement concerns named systems in the wider service area. It does not mean every Deer Park residence is connected to all three providers, nor does it establish that every property will see new construction directly outside its address.

Likewise, approval of funding agreements is not evidence that all work has been completed, that a household water bill has changed or that water service will be interrupted on a particular day. Individual project contracts and provider notices are required to verify such developments.

How residents can follow projects

Homeowners should identify their actual water provider through a current bill or official service notice. They can then check the provider’s board information or contact Napa County about the Measure A allocation and construction schedule. Fire protection benefits may depend on the particular pipes, tanks and service area involved.

See the official Board of Supervisors recap, item 5AE, for the county’s documented action.
